Host of the MANCOW Podcast

Get To Know

Erich “Mancow” Muller leads the Mancow Morning Show on 97.9 The Loop, and he’s reunited with his popular original cast members, Al Roker, Jr., Abe the Chameleon, and Cathy the Greek, and DJ Luv Cheez.

With the goal to lessen the drool tough morning commute, Mancow chose to return to the Chicago airwaves with his fast-paced riotous show that put him on the rock radio map from 1994 to 2006. Fans of the original “Mancow Madhouse” and brand new listeners are finding a new morning addiction!

“This is my final act [The Loop] because I don’t believe I’ll ever top this! Chicago is a tough city for commuters and our ONLY goal with this show is to provide an escape and make our listeners laugh.”

Mancow’s radio career began at KOKO in Kansas City, then mornings as Holy Moly on Q104 KC. He then ventured west to San Francisco, where he was on-air at WILD107. After leaving California, Mancow came to ROCK 103.5 in Chicago, where he created his now-famous radio show in 1994, and entertained Chicagoans from 1998 until 2006 on Rock 103.5, followed by Q101. The show was ultimately nationally syndicated in multiple markets. Mancow published his memoirs, “Dad, Dames, Demons, and a Dwarf”, which became a New York Times Bestseller. The Mancow is also a family man, happily married and with 2 daughters.
